The Know Thyself Print
Stay in the game long enough and join the club. Aches, pains, pulls and strains. Overuse, not warm enough, one try too many. So now what? Time to look inward and do what needs to be done. Know thyself. Rest, refuel, recharge, recover, and then set those sights toward redemption on what’s left undone. So many of us aren’t familiar with what’s going on in the meaty mechanical madness of our mitts.
While we probably don’t all need to know all of the bells and whistles, it’s good to know some basics (especially when it hurts). Get yourself -or your perpetually tweaked buddy- a print or hoody this holiday season and take a little time to appreciate these exquisitely complex grippers we love to push to the absolute max, over and over again.
Printed on 8.5” X 11” cardstock, frame not included.
Do a part in stopping the everlasting flood of soft grades in the South East! This war propaganda esk design was put together to display a long lasting feeling of sandbagged boulders in Appalachia, but those appropriately soft rocks are what we love.

By purchasing one of these a portion of the proceeds will go to CCC, and helping them preserve these places we hold dear.
Prints in 8.5 X 11 inches on cardstock.
You’d be hard-pressed to name another season more iconic than autumn in Appalachia.
As lovers of the outdoors we should all strive to be more in tune and familiar with nature and our surrounding ecosystems. Knowing more about the environments we love to interact with allows us to be more responsible stewards while we’re out there.
We hope the Autumn Appalachia series is both something you enjoy seeing on your wall and something that can serve as a tool in identifying and appreciating our Appalachian forests. Get to know the trees in your yard, in your parks, on your hikes and at the boulders and crags you love to visit.

FAQs
-
The name “Native Grade” refers to the unmistakable character of climbing spaces in Appalachia. Experiences of this region, its community, geology, flora and fauna, leave us with an itch that can’t be scratched elsewhere. Our aim is to offer useful, genuine products as unique and special as the places we love.

NG is a company owned by seasoned climbers local to Boone NC, some of which have established over 1,500 new boulders and routes in the high country. Our goal with the products we make is to share some of the experiences and places we hold dear. With respect to the local traditions and ethics here before us.

You can do a couple different things. You could go to your local climbing gym and spark some relationships with people and go out with them. You could get the gear needed and go out by yourself (look at mountain project for directions). Or you could contact (if your in Boone, NC) Rock Dimensions and plan a guided trip with them. Our top suggestion is to just get into it, don’t overthink it, and be safe!
