Each brush utilizes the finest rhododendron hardwood, sourced from the same ridges and mountains as your favorite Appalachian crags and boulderfields. Every branch is hand selected from “standing deadwood” so that no rhododendron is ever harmed in the process. SBS brushes are pruned, carved and whittled, shaped and sanded, painted and clear coated, and bristles applied, all in-house and by hand.
